I have spent 30 years running my own restaurant business rearing 3 children, 16 years coaching and managing my sons soccer teams.
Feeling equipped with the life skills from above, I came out of “retirement” in 2020 and have been giving driving lessons, when I am not walking our dog Bella. I focus primarily on the Dun Laoghaire area and lessons will happen on these test routes.

Fintan was great at preparing me for my recent driving test which, after some clear lessons and a dress rehearsal for the test itself, led to me passing first time around with only two minor errors. Although I have decades of driving experience overseas, understanding the specifics of the Irish test, and off-loading some bad habits picked up over the years, were key to passing. Fintan knows exactly what is expected, is very calm and patient in his guidance, and is always focused on safety and common sense.
I started my 12 driving lessons with Fintan back in February of 2023 and passed my test first time by October that same year!! I was so pleased to have worked with him as he made the whole learning process so pleasant, stress free and fun !! I learned so much with each lesson and with his help, I had gained a lot of confidence in my driving ability within the first few sessions. I did them in doubles and honestly would recommend that to anyone as we never ran out of things to talk about and it meant I could apply for a test much sooner.
