Hi I’m Fintan, I will be your instructor. This web site hopefully reflects me, my professionalism and how I can help you as you begin your journey in becoming a competent, safe confident driver.
I have spent 30 years running my own restaurants, rearing 3 children, 16 years coaching and manging both my sons soccer teams and failing to teach my daughter how to drive !, My wife successfully triumphed here !
Feeling equipped with the life skills from above, I came out of “retirement” in 2020 and have been giving driving lessons, when I am not walking our dog Bella.

I started my 12 driving lessons with Fintan back in February of 2023 and passed my test first time by October that same year!! I was so pleased to have worked with him as he made the whole learning process so pleasant, stress free and fun !! I learned so much with each lesson and with his help, I had gained a lot of confidence in my driving ability within the first few sessions. I did them in doubles and honestly would recommend that to anyone as we never ran out of things to talk about and it meant I could apply for a test much sooner. Fintan was great at preparing me for my recent driving test which, after some clear lessons and a dress rehearsal for the test itself, led to me passing first time around with only two minor errors. Although I have decades of driving experience overseas, understanding the specifics of the Irish test, and off-loading some bad habits picked up over the years, were key to passing. Fintan knows exactly what is expected, is very calm and patient in his guidance, and is always focused on safety and common sense.
